Filipiniana High Tea at Alberton House

High tea is traditionally an English affair. Our friend and event-organiser, AJ, suggested that we book a high tea party at the historic Alberton House but with a twist.  It will be done Filipiniana-style. All the participants will be garbed in their best Maria Clara or Balintawak dresses that are customary during the Hispanic era of the Philippines.

The big day arrived and everyone arrived in their best dresses. It was truly a memorable event. The mood was festive, the food was great and best of all the company was excellent. This was truly our cup of tea!

Here are some of the pictures that I took during the event. Please click on each for a larger version.
